AzSCE PBYMF Foundation

What is the AzSCE PBYMF Foundation? 

 

The AzSCE Phoenix Branch Younger Member Forum Foundation was established by the PBYMF in 2001 with the mission -

“To promote the civil engineering profession through the distribution of funds towards engineering education and public awareness in the state of Arizona.”

 

The primary goals of the Foundation are to:

  • Support Younger Member Forum Organization

  • Support Jan J. Tuma Scholarship Program

  • Promote Engineering Education

  • Enhance Engineering Awareness

  • Enhance Community Welfare

 

Who can submit a grant application?

Anyone!  Each grant application must be sponsored by an active PBYMF member and must receive the support of the PBYMF Board in order to be forwarded to the Foundation Board for approval. 

 

What types of projects and organizations have received Foundation grants in the past?

  • Mathcounts

  • Future Cities

  • E-week

  • ASU Student Branch of ASCE

  • Pacific Southwest Conference

  • Arizona Trail

  • Schools
